It’s my week to blog. I’ve decided to do something a little different this time. I’m going to share a song that I wrote based on the 23rd Psalm.
The idea of God being our shepherd and us being His sheep has always appealed to me. My name is Rachel Leigh, which means “Little lamb from the meadow”. I had a plaque on my wall growing up that had my name on it, the meaning and this scripture from Isaiah 40:11a “He will feed his flock like a shepherd. He will carry the lambs in his arms, holding them close to his heart…”
I have always felt near to the heart of God. As children of God it is so important for us to discover and rediscover who our Father is, learn His character, and seek to know what is the height, depth & width of his never-ending love for us.
