To live in Jubilee, we have to overcome the battle of doubt
Luke 3: 21, 22 One day when the crowds were being baptized Jesus himself was baptized. As he was praying the heavens opened and the Holy Spirit in bodily form descended on him like a dove and a voice from heaven said you are my dearly loved Son and you bring me great joy.”
Two things happened when Jesus was baptized
- Appointed by God
- Filled with the Holy Ghost
Satan immediately attacked Jesus in the area of what God spoke over his life when he said you are my son
- if you are the Son of God…
- His home town…Aren’t you Joseph’s son?
- Throughout His ministry If you are the Son of God do…..
The one thing that grieves Jesus more than anything is a lack of faith in who He is.
Hebrews 11: 6 without faith it is impossible to please God.
We can hear without hearing so we need the holy spirit to bring to remembrance what we know.
John 14: 26 He (the Holy Spirit) will teach you all things and bring all things to your remembrance what ever I have said to you.
Romans 8: 11 If the Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwells in you.
We need to use the sword of the spirit (bible) along with our shield of faith
Doubt could have set in a number of times in Jesus ministry, but he was able to conqueror them and fulfill his ministry
