Jesus is Satisfied
Isaiah 53: 11 When He (Jesus) sees all that is accomplished by his anguish he will be satisfied.
Anguish is talking about what Christ’s work on the cross.
The result of that for us is that now Jesus is satisfied.
- Filled with food
- To have excess
- Completely justified (Just as if I have never sinned) Satisfied with what I have done in you.
- Already been pruned and purified by the message I (Jesus) has given us. John 15: 3
- Ephesians 2: 7 to show the incredible wealth of his grace and kindness toward us he has united himself with us. Vs 10 you are God’s Masterpiece.
Masterpiece recognized by all.
You are not becoming a Masterpiece, you are already one because of the work of Jesus on the cross.
2. The Garden is Good.
Genesis and creation. After everyday God states “It is Good”
Good = Towb which is also the character of God. God is Good and creation is a revelation of that character, what he makes is good.
I am doing Good because I am Good.
When Creation was done God rested, Satisfied
Man had a job in the garden. Genesis 2: 15 tend and take care of the Garden.
- Tend it = (foster the growth of)
- Take care = Cause it to flourish.
Guard My character that I Am Good.
3. Satan enters the garden.
Adam and Eve had a sense of what was right and wrong. You eat from this tree you will die.
Attack is always the same, “I know what God said, but does it matter?”
Satan could care less about you. He is always out to challenge God and who he is.
EXAMPLE: This is what is wrong with you, and God is sick of hearing about it.
We fall into the same lie that Adam and Eve fell into. You can’t trust the goodness of God and rather than cultivating it, we turn against it and doubt it.
4. Calling Still Exists
You are a masterpiece because of the work of Jesus on the cross.
Act of God’s Grace that he can proclaim to the world. I Am Good.
1 Corinthians 3: 9 You are God’s field.
And looking down at you he proclaims. I Am satisfied, It is Good.
- Cultivate it.
- Cause it to flourish in this generation.
- MY GOD IS GOOD.
How do we do this?
Zechariah 3: 1 – 2 Jeshua standing before The Lord and satan accusing him.
“I, The Lord, reject your accusations”
Not only reject, but put a white robe on him.
God will not entertain lies about you. DO NOT ENTERTAIN LIES ABOUT OUR GOD.
We will always be challenged in our minds to doubt God’s motives about what is happening in our lives.
No!!! My God is good.
Satisfied with me because of what he did on the cross
Isaiah 53: Pierced for our rebellion, Crushed for our sins. He was beaten so we could be made whole
Breathed new life into me
Molded me
Quickened me
Sealed me
Put a white Robe on me
His name is now my name
He speaks his truths to me
I am his completed work
Called me by name.
How can we entertain the lie that we have no value. It is not based on anyone else sees you, it is based on how our God sees you.
Sends us out to this Generation to proclaim, that My God is Good.
