Two main things were to happen during Jubilee
Rest from labor of harvesting and planting
Release of indentured servants and land given back

Release in Jesus
Luke 4: 18, 19 “The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to release the oppressed, 19 to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor.” (Jubilee)

Rest in Jesus
Matthew 11: 28 – 30 “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy and my burden is light
Vs 25 – 27 to understand it. At that time Jesus said, “I praise you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because you have hidden these things from the wise and learned, and revealed them to little children. 26 Yes, Father, for this was your good pleasure. 27 “All things have been committed to me by my Father. No one knows the Son except the Father, and no one knows the Father except the Son and those to whom the Son chooses to reveal him
Vs 25 proud will not get this revelation.
Matthew 5: 3 poor in spirit it has pleased God to give you the kingdom.
Luke 12: 32 it is the Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom.
