Being “battle-ready” means you are prepared with gear (your sword, shield, and armor), but also mentally. God is constantly asking us to go to bat for what is right and just. He will be with us during difficult times and do what He tells us to do.
As we continue to strive away from fear and feeling like a victim, we must remember that there is a war in the spiritual realm. The kingdoms are clashing. But we are on the winning side of the war, and our God is a mighty fortress.
