When Elijah completed his 40 day fasting in 1 Kings, he found himself on Mount Sinai depressed and stagnant. God spoke with him and pushed him out into the world. God wasn’t done with Elijah, there is more to go do to advance His kingdom.

Today is the first day of our 40 Days of Fasting and Prayer under the theme “Go”! We are looking at John 16, right before Jesus goes to the cross. He talks about going away, but he wound be back. When we “go alone” we are not actually alone. We have the Holy Spirit with us.

So, the world is picking back up, again. Cars are a-cruising, people are out a-bustling, there are millions of ways to get that adrenaline coursing.
