In 1960, Pastor Donald Cox established Harvestime Chapel in Altoona, Wisconsin. A building was purchased from a Lutheran church located at 2nd and Bartlett in Altoona.
Rev. Eldon Borreson came to pastor Harvestime in 1966. Under the direction of Pastor Borreson a new front was added to the church. Also a house was built next to the church to house the pastor.
In January of 1986 a new building was erected on South Hastings Way in Eau Claire with additions added in 1998 and 2001.
Pastor Kim Buckman moved to HTC in November of 2005 and continues to pastor at the present time.
This is a history of the building of Harvestime, but the church is more than a building. It is people who are pursuing a relevant, vital, relationship with Jesus Christ. Together, we are learning how to know Jesus better and be the church He desires us to be here in the Chippewa Valley.
